Layout Design has been in business for fifteen years. From the very beginning to the present we have been developing and consulting in the Facilities Management Software arena. We have had clients longer than most of the competition has been in business. Our innovations have become the inspiration for all new software in the industry:

• We were the first to reverse the concept of maintaining a facility from a Database - not a drawing.
• Our Drawing Viewer technology was the first not to require a CAD program to view AutoCAD and then Microstation Drawings.
• Most important was our innovation in the use of a relational database to move people around the facility through the use of future dates. This innovation allowed our clients to plan moves week and months in advance.

And we have continued to improve our product and lead the way in the industry. The future holds many new technological advancements.

At Layout Design we have a simple philosophy - If you can't install the product and use it yourself, you bought consulting - not software. Being in the Software Development business means shipping a product that works without the need of additional and expensive training. Support should be available to assist the client, not an added expense that occurrs monthly.

As you will be able to tell from our WEB site. We Like to show our software. Most sites tell you how great there software is, without showing you the actual product. It's only software, after all, and if you don't show the product how can someone know what they are buying.

Our competition has borrowed many features from us over the last 15 years, but they have not caught us yet.
