The Foundation
Conference Room Scheduler has many advantages over the numerous dedicated
scheduling packages on the market. First and foremost, all your room data,
previously entered into the Foundation database, is accessible by Foundation
Scheduler. This allows you to use your existing room information such
as room capacity, available audio/video equipment, or furniture inventory
when you are scheduling a room, in other words -- when you need it. You
can also set up Equipment Pooling independent of the Room database to
provide for resources that need to be shared by many rooms.
You can also order food for meetings with the Catering module and have the orders print automatically at the cafeteria. With built-in reports, either printed or viewed on-screen, you can generate information on single or multiple conference rooms, check on room usage, view detailed reports of room features or look for available times, dates or selected rooms by date range. Meeting Invitees Can Access the Schedule: If you are using the Foundation One Button Website, anyone with a browser and access to the corporate intranet can view the conference room schedules, directions, relevant phone numbers and check on meeting status. And Security Is Never A Problem: Of course, since the Scheduler program is a part of Foundation, it takes advantage of the program's robust security functions. Passwords protect the administration of the database as well as the ability to set-up password groups to limit scheduling access to the conference rooms. |
